An important warning... why you need intercooler spacers.
If you install a body lift kit to your vehicle with a top mount intercooler and bonnet scoop, the bonnet scoop is raised 50mm with the body. The result is that the air stream passing through the intercooler is no longer contained so the engine's cooling will be negatively affected.
There a number of fixes, but by far the best action to take is installing an intercooler spacer which captures the air stream within the bonnet scoop's internal rubber boot. If you live in a cooler part of Australia you might not have to take this action...
...but if you reside and drive around the hotter places or tropical regions it's an absolute must. And when you do, you should also try installing a slimline intercooler fan to the flange along with a high end intercooler spacer - there are often mounting holes provided to do this.
