Blackhawk Upper Control Arm to suit Toyota HIlux 2005-18+ (KUN26/GUN,N80,N70, Vigo,Revo)

This is an upgraded product which has reduced  the caster added by the UCA's back with in more normal expected range.

The main function of replacement upper control arms is to adjust for camber on lifted vehicles. A secondary objective is to add more caster to create more clearance at the rear of the front tyre as this is the area that most clearance issues occur.

In our view, the Blackhawk Upper control arm is the best upper control arm on the market. Here's why:

• Fixed position top ball joint that accepts an OEM ball joint that can be sourced anywhere
• OEM compatible ball joints are available for $20 or so v's $150 or more for complicated adjustable ball joint
• Expensive adjustable ball joints have a short service life when compared to a standard ball joint.
• The adjustable style ball joints can come loose and lose steering alignment (or worse!)
• Proven to be at least 3 times stiffer than the OEM pressed metal part due to a 6mm wall thickness resulting in more precise handling when you need it most
• Heavy duty off-road ready ball joint supplied and installed
• Extensive engineering to prove the component is stronger than the factory component
• VASS engineering reports available to satisfy the fussiest of vehicle engineers reviewing high lift designs.
• 3 degrees of additional caster allowing a full range of caster adjustment at lifted heights
• Maximum droop without fouling the spring.

FOOTNOTE: Some manufacturers claim their Upper Control Arms are ADR approved. This is totally false as there is no such requirement under the ADR's. However, it is up to the manufacturer of a replacement part to demonstrate it is at least as strong as the OEM model. We at VMN have never seen a manufacturer to go to the lengths the manufactuere has in this instance to demonstrate this as demonstrated by the following documents:
