The ultimate Hilux lift kits designed by Hilux drivers for Hilux drivers.
At VMN, we only list the best lift kits to suit your Hilux. If they don't meet our exacting standards, we ask the manufacturer to modify it so it does or we don't list it. Its that simple, you deserve the very best lift kits to suit your Toyota Hilux. Its that approach that sets us apart from other suspension suppliers. We want you to still be happy with your Hilux lift kit years after you fit it.
Quality components from major brands for your peace of mind.
VMN supplies a range of quality lift kits to suit your Hilux so that we can make sure we can match your needs with the correct lift kit. Some things to think about when selecting your lift kit are discussed below

Lift Height.
Many people aspire to a lift kit that towers over others and expect ride heights of 3" (75mm) and above. Make your decision carefully here if you are driving on the road because government regulations mandate a maximum height of 2" (50mm) without additional engineering requirements so it is important to check the regulations in your state regarding the maximum allowed height. Also, if you set the ride height too high (eg. 3" and above), there may be insufficient downtravel to provide a comfortable ride. Sometimes this can be corrected by installing a longer front strut but if it is too long, CV's can bind and steering rack ends can start acting as travel limiters resulting in much higher maintenance costs than normal. At a ride height of 3", in our view its mandatory to add upper control arms to correct for altered camber and caster to prevent excessive tyre wear. You also need to add a diff drop kit to reduce CV anlges to minimise the chance of damage offroad or have a CV boot come off and spew grease out all over the underside of your Hilux.
Front axle weight
Be sure to consider the weight you are going to add to the front axle. First and formost, is it going to be within the maximum load mentioned on the compliance plate? Have you fitted a bullbar? What about a winch? Have you fitted a dual battery in the engine bay? Do you have brush bars and sidesteps that also add weight? It is this additional constant load that deterimes the correct front springs to support any additional load you add. Its important to get this right. Typically at VMN, we offer three differently rated front springs to suit most applications and some suspension kits can be adjusted to suit certain heights. If in doubt, give VMN a call and arrange to have your vehicle weighed to determine the actual axle weights.
Rear axle weight
There are many factors affecting the rear axle weight of your Hilux. After all it is a commercial vehicle designed to carry eavy payloads. Here are a few to consider. Canopies, side steps, rock sliders, tool boxes, drawer units, rear bars, long range fuel tanks, water tanks and auxilliary batteries to name a few. Make a rough estimate of these weights and add them together to come up with an estimate of the rear axle weight once they are fitted. If you are not certain, consider completing the VMN lift assessment to obtain an estimate of your axle weights or contact VMN to arrange to have your vehicle weighed to remove any doubt.
Coilovers
Adjustable front coilovers have become popular but are typically more expensive (particularly if they are masde in the USA due to the current exchange rate differential with the AUD). Many of these are designed for a modest lift height and often include a softer rated spring which is typically not suitable for Australian conditions. This can result in additional expense to replace the spring with a heavier rated spring . VMN offer a couple of solutions from Bilstein and Fox that have several spring options that are designed for Australain conditions.
Upper control arms
At 2" of lift, upper control arms are recommended but not mandatory to correct vehicle camber and place the top ball joint in a more neutral position. This increases articulation and reduces the chance of the ball joint binding on full drop. Fitting Upper control arms should result in a perfect wheel alignment after the lift kit is fitted to your Hilux. VMN offer their Option Upper control arms
Diff drop kits
At higher levels of lift (eg from 3"), a quality diff drop kit is required to prevent excessive CV angles. Don't just buy a simple spacer style Diff drop kit that spaces the front diff mounts down 1" (25mm) to gain 10mm of diff drop. Why would you give up 1" of clearance for so little gain?
Why do you list more than one category for my vehicle model?
During the product life cycle, a facelift model was released. Typically, a facelift model just changes some of the panel work (eg. the grille) on the same chassis. Some products (like bulbars) need to account for this changed body work. However, the suspension is unchanged across the category.
What is the difference between suspension for the
N70/Vigo/KUN26 and the Revo N80/GGUN/?
Not much. Aside from some very minor changes, the front suspension is essentially identical and parts are interchangeable. At the rear, the chassis rails are a bit wider and the spring mounting points are in different locations. This means that the only difference in rear suspension is a longer leaf spring and a different spring shackle on the Revo.
What if suspension for my model is not listed here? Can VMN still help?
Of course we can. We have thousands of products available in our database and its impossible to list them all. Feel free to reach out and discuss your requirements and we will generally be able to put a package together at a competitive price.

!!! WARNING !!!
Do not choose a supplier of Hilux lift kits that does not understand the Hilux! Many of them just want to take your money and move on.
Quality and safety is everything when it comes to lift kits, so at VMN we make it our business to ensure we are Australian Design Rule (ADR) compliant across the board. Please beware of other lift kit suppliers with low grade component parts.
Lift lift kit “top 3” tips to watch out for:
- Front axle weight. Are the front springs rated for your axle load?
- Rear axle weight. Is the rear suspension set up to carry the additional weight once your Hilux is fully set up?
- Lift height. Are CV joints, steering rack ends and front suspension down travel within normal limits for best comfort and maximum reliability?
