EF-HOL-104HDEEFS Colorado/Dmax Front Coil SpringsVMN takes pride in offering EFS Coil Springs which were manufactured to comply w...$276.54
Next generation steel means that coil springs can now perform much, much better than traditional designs, by bringing down the amount of steel needed in the component - which makes it much lighter, solid height comes down and the drive experience is enhanced.
Before you know what coil springs you need, measure them properly!
This is the length of the coil at its longest point outside of the vehicle. To measure it, lay the coil flat, put one end on an even surface at right-angles with coil.
This is the length of the coil when the vehicle is hoisted up and free load is off the spring.
This is the length of the coil in the vehicle with typical load.
This is the width of the spring at its widest point, inside edge to inside edge.
This is the combined number of complete turns from start to finish, including reductions.
Normal - means not straight cut
Ground - means ground flat
Pigs Tail - means the end is reduced and will fit inside the coil
iReduced - means the end coil will sit on top of the coil
Coil springs in standard and raised heights are shorter than the springs they are replacing a lot of the time, as they don't compress as much under the initial weight of the vehicle.
When you're installing a vehicle lift or fixing height issues, remember to check that wheel and tyre sizes and pressures are all compatible... this means measuring all four corners, and from centre hub to guard while your vehicle is on a flat surface. (TIP: Most vehicles transfer weight diagonally).
Make sure you get a wheel alignment done after having new springs installed.
